Accessibility statement

Bruukki Oy wants everyone to be able to use its digital services. This statement describes how well the website meets accessibility requirements, which shortcomings we know of, and how you can give us feedback.

This statement covers the Bruukki website bruukki.com. The Bruukki app (app.bruukki.com) and the student view (learn.bruukki.com) have their own accessibility statement.

Our target is Level AA of the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, which the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019) and the standard EN 301 549 also reference.

Accessibility status of the website

The website meets the WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements.

What works

The first keyboard stop on every page is a link that takes you straight to the main content. Pages have the correct language set, one main heading and a marked main content area, and keyboard focus is visible.

Non-accessible content

We do not currently know of any content on the website that does not meet the requirements. We fixed the contrast issues found in the 28 September 2026 assessment on 29 September 2026.

How this statement was prepared

This statement is based on a self-assessment by Bruukki Oy. On 28 September 2026 we assessed the website with automated axe-core checks (WCAG 2.1 A and AA), by working through the pages with a keyboard, and by reviewing the page structure from a screen reader's point of view. On the website we assessed 20 pages (14 in Finnish, 3 in Swedish and 3 in English) and the error page.

We update this statement whenever we fix shortcomings or change the website significantly, and at least once a year.

Supervision

Bruukki Oy is not subject to supervision under the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019), so the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom does not supervise Bruukki's services. We publish this statement voluntarily.
