Getting started for admins
How to set up a workspace for your school and bring your teachers on board. No installations or IT department needed, and setup takes about fifteen minutes.
Have you already signed in to Bruukki with your school email?
Set up your school’s workspace when you already have an account with your school email
Open the workspace menu
Sign in with your school email at app.bruukki.com. Click the workspace name at the top of the sidebar and choose New Workspace.
Set up your school’s workspace
Choose My school and give the workspace your school’s name. As the creator of the workspace you become its admin.
Review the workspace settings
Open Settings by clicking the workspace name in the sidebar. There you can rename the workspace, set the default AI model, and manage billing.
Invite your teachers
The fastest way is an invite link: limit it to your school’s email addresses and share it with the whole staff. You can also send individual invitations by email and pick a role for each person.
Set up teamspaces
A teamspace is a subject group’s or team’s shared place for materials. Any workspace member can join an open teamspace; a private one is invitation-only.

Institution licence and Microsoft sign-in
Microsoft sign-in, email domain auto-link, and invoicing for your institution are part of the institution licence. We set them up together with you, so just get in touch.

Bruukki is a multi-tenant app in Microsoft Entra ID. When a teacher at your institution signs in with their Microsoft account for the first time, Entra asks your organisation to grant the app permission. If your organisation restricts user consent, the teacher sees a "Need admin approval" message and cannot continue. An administrator can grant consent for the whole organisation in advance, so nobody sees the message.
Bruukki asks only for the details needed to sign in: name and email address (openid, email and profile). Bruukki does not read email, files, calendars or any other Microsoft 365 data. Microsoft itself adds the User.Read and offline_access permissions to the consent page; they appear for every app.
Consent for the organisation by signing in
Sign in to Bruukki at app.bruukki.com with a Microsoft account that holds the Global Administrator or Cloud Application Administrator role in Entra. On the consent page, tick "Consent on behalf of your organization" and accept. After that, nobody in your organisation sees the question.
Or approve a teacher's request
If a teacher has already clicked "Request approval", the request is waiting in the Microsoft Entra admin center under Enterprise applications, Activity, Admin consent requests. Approve it there.
On the consent page or in the Enterprise applications list, check that the app is named Bruukki and its Application (client) ID is 981ed60c-4d19-482c-9f78-27fb3317981f
